ब्राह्मी वासा सिंहलीभिः कुण्डल्या मूलकेन च ।अमृतालर्ककैः सर्पिः साधितं श्वासकासजित् ।।

Drugs which are meant for decoction should be coarse powdered and boiled with stipulated amount of water, till one fourth water remains. Decoction is filtered out and kept aside Drugs meant for herbal paste are fine powdered and made into paste with the help of water. Ghee, decoction and herbal paste are mixed well and boiled till all the water portion evaporates and snehapaka Laxana appeared. Then ghee is filtered out and used to treat listed diseases. काढ़े के लिए उपयोग की जाने वाली औषधियों को यवकुट चूर्ण करके निर्धारित मात्रा में पानी में तब तक उबालना चाहिए जब तक एक चौथाई पानी शेष न रह जाए। काढ़े को छानकर अलग रख दिया जाता है हर्बल पेस्ट के लिए बताएगये दवाओं को बारीक पाउडर बनाया जाता है और पानी की मदद से पेस्ट बनाया जाता है। घी, काढ़ा और हर्बल पेस्ट को अच्छी तरह से मिलाया जाता है और तब तक उबाला जाता है जब तक कि पानी का सारा हिस्सा वाष्पित न हो जाए और स्नेहपाक लक्षण प्रकट न हो जाए। फिर घी को छान लिया जाता है और सूचीबद्ध बीमारियों के इलाज के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है।
