आवर्तकीतुलां सलिलार्मणेऽष्टांशशिष्टां विपाच्य तेन निर्यूहेण तन्मूलैश्च घृतप्रस्थं साधयेत्|
ततो मात्रामेकाहान्तरं पिबेत्|
ऊर्ध्वाधो विरिच्यमानस्तृषितः| शीतलव्रणमारनालं जीर्णस्नेहश्च तेनैव कोद्रवौदनमश्नीयात्|

अनेन कुष्ठश्वित्रापचीभगन्दरनाडीव्रणाखुविषाणि सिध्यन्ति| मेध्यं चैतत् पुंसवनं च

अथवोभयानुलोमनं वमनं विरेचनं च सर्पिः पिबेत् | किमित्याह्ब्राह्मीस्वरससाधितम् | आवर्तकीघृतं सुबोधम् | आवर्तकी रक्तपुष्पा| महाजालिनी नाम च वमनद्रव्यम्| अर्मणो द्रोणः| पलशतानि पञ्चद्वादशाधिकानि| आवर्तक्या एव मूलानि कल्कपरिभाषया| मात्रामित्यनियमो दोषादिवशात्| सुबोधम्| पुंसवनं स्त्रीणाम्|| ११||

Drugs meant for herbal paste are fine powdered and made into paste with the help of water. Ghee and water and herbal paste are mixed well and boiled till all the water portion evaporates and snehapaka Laxana appeared.
